Dementia

Dementia-related conditions are becoming more prevalent in society today. But that doesn’t mean people who have them shouldn’t continue living a full and active life.

Our highly qualified staff ensure each individual is given the personalised care and attention they need. While those needs vary, our fundamental services always remains consistent:

    1. We create a home-like feel where people are helped to recall happier times with familiar decorations in their rooms and memory boxes filled with their personal items to rummage in

    1. We adapt environments to meet our people’s needs. This includes special crockery, tableware and kitchens, alongside enclosed sensory gardens with low risk walkways.

    1. We provide care that supports people’s freedom of choice and develops their life-skills and self-esteem, helping maintain and develop their independents.

  1. We ensure individuals feel comfortable and safe in their surrounding environment, helping ensure they live life with dementia rather than just ‘exist’ with it.
