Burlingham House, a Georgian Grade II listed manor house, stands today as a beacon of heritage and care. Once the esteemed seat of the Jary family, it now serves as a care home, preserving the essence of its historic past while catering to the needs of its residents.

Lingwood and Burlingham Parish

The civil parish of Lingwood and Burlingham is a fusion of ancient parishes, including Lingwood, Burlingham St Edmond, and Burlingham St Peter. With an area of not quite 10km2, the parish has seen its population grow over the years, reaching 2,694 residents in 2021. 

The village of Lingwood, with its origins dating back to 1190, offers convenient connectivity through the Lingwood railway station.
